hey, the Dallas Metroplex Softball Umpires Association (www.dmsua.com) still needs officials for the 2005 season. you'll get the best training in Texas - we have 6 Big XII umps on our training staff! you'll get $30 a game + mileage, and softball games are alot shorter than baseball. it averages well over $20/hour plus you'll get ample exercise. we cover over 100 schools, both public & private, even some middle schools (nothing like a 1 hour middle school game for $30 + $12 mileage!!!). you can restrict how far you are willing to travel & stuff like that.
