There is a kid in Gilmer who is a freshman, at 6'1 190 pds. Was moved up to varsity for the playoffs after his freshman and JV campaigns ended in undefeated seasons as well as the varsity. His name is JUSTIN JOHNSON. He carried towards the end of the Snyder game... you know the carry that had about 8 guys on him and he still didn't go down before the whistle sounded. Gilmer might want to run a little bit more with this kid.

sounds like a quality prosect gilmer has on their hands there, do you know any of his other stats? like speed, strength, maybe grades? (remember purvey this year, thats why i bring this up)

gilmer lost no one to grades this season. I suspect he is a good student. he is at least a 4.5 right now. To chase down Stephen Hodge of Tatum is quite difficult.

what about his strengths, does he have alot of upper body strength? im fairly confident he has lower body strength if your statement of carring, or dragging rather, the eight players from snyder...do you know what other sports he plays?
