Anyone know of a good software to accomplish this?

spivey.....go up to www.download.com, look under the digital music categories for "rippers"or "burners". Look at the program descriptions of the various programs listed, pick one with the features that will accomplish your task, download, and then install the program. Good Luck.

UH,

I am pretty sure you will need some hardware that allows you to hook your cassette deck to your computer also.

Of course a hardware connection will be required, but the man did inquire about the SOFTWARE solution in his original post.

There is an excellent article in the January 2005 MacWorld magazine.

Some of the software that you can use:

Garage Band (standard on Apple Computers)

Bias by SoundSoap -$99.

Felt Tip software - Sound Studio -$50.

Hairersoft - Amadeus II - $30.

Open Source -Audacityv1.2 - FREE.

Roxio - CD Spin Doctor 2 -$100

You mean with computers as high-tech as they are, they don't use the osmosis method now? ;)
