Rangers need to go after this guy. He should be one that cannot demand a real big contract

If that were the case, surely the Astros would have signed him to a small contract. It sounds to me like he's wanting big bucks. The problem is he hasn't been healthy the past two years.

I have a feeling the Rangers will go after him. Coming off an injury, he won't get the dollars that all the other free agent pitchers are getting, and if healthy, he's exactly the kind of guy they're looking for.

I think the Astros will resign him to a much smaller contract. Peter Gammons says this is a real possibility.

I believe the Astros will resign him for a lesser amount. His arbitration was looking at a $9 million contract for this season, and I don't blame the 'Stros for not taking it. Miller is good, but he is not a $9 million pitcher.

Maybe he will stay hurt most of the time for them too. Now we need to resign Randy Johnson and Rodger....I wish!

I hope your right, however with RC being related by marriage, I am not sure he will play another year. His mother is a big concern for him and with the general manager changes, things may not pan out for a few other good 2004 players/prospects.
