when i worked at the burger king in lake worth we had something similar to this happen, they were changing the main signs, and the crane neglected to retract the arm to bring down the old sign because they werent positioned right, and the whole thing went crashing down, luckily there wasnt anybody under it other wise they would have been hamburger meet...there was one guy who was about 3 feet from being under it. he was one of the contruction workers involved in changing the signs, and was wallking to the trailer for something. i think he almosthad a heart attack. he bullfrog_dad, do you remember when this happened? i was working drive thru at the time
