That is hard to say, but I really liked the Jasper win a couple weeks ago over those super fast Marlin Bulldogs! :D

It's hard not to say Wylie beating Everman in the 2000 state semis because VERY few people gave us a chance in the game...but then again how can I not say the game against Cuero because its our 1st state championship!

im gonna either have to go with our only state championship win over new braunsfels in 48, or our win over breckenridge in 98, we werent even supposed to make the playoffs starting out 0-4 let alone beat the number one team

I was in the 2nd grade but the '76 2A State Final win over Childress 23-6 was a big one. The most recent one was in '98 over Marlin in the Playoffs 14-6 or so in Grosebeck......

Commerce 17 Sealy 10 - 3A - II State title game December '99. Nothing like it for the 2nd best team in the 90s to beat the giants of Sealy.

The '95 statle title game in Waco would've been my answer if we couldn've converted that 2-pt conversion against Sealy. That was way back in the day when there was only ONE 3A bracket and no OT. What a game...

That was a good one. Last week's over LH was a tense one. Last year's over Waco Connally was too. The FEW we have gotten over WOS over the years are always nice... ANY victory over Kirbyville henceforth will be sweet as well! :D

And there's a game tomorrow that has a lot of potential!!! :D

Greenwood's 10 - 0 win over Daingerfield in 2002 Semi-finals.

I have to say the melee Dfield started with 30 seconds left in the game stands out over the actual game though!!

I think my cousin Scott Sparks was the QB for that Rockdale team, if I'm not mistaken. As far as my school, we haven't won a state title so our biggest win hasn't happened yet. Most memorable so far would probably be our win over Austin Westlake in the Region IV-4A final in 1993. It was our first ever regional championship.

Snyder had two of them this year. The awesome comeback against Abilene Wylie. Snyder was down 23-6 at half time and came back and won 27-23. Also, the playoff win over Sweetwater, 21-20. Both were excellent games and very exciting.

Sorry Bridge City fans, but one of the most memoriable wins in recent Orangefield history is the 15-14 win over cross town rival Bridge City in the 2003 season. Also from that same season the win over Liberty in the first round of the playoffs. Orangefield was a big underdog in that game, but won the game 21-14.

The best game I have seen in 2004 was the Barbers Hill Eagles vs. West Columbia. The game ended with a touch down reception while time expired. Bh 27 WC 21

I dont know about the biggest win, but certainly a big one was when Gilmer beat Spring Hill the first year our undefeated-in-district streak began. I think it was 2001 and it was @ Spring Hill

maybe not the most memorable to the school, but to me it was beating marlin in the second round of the playoffs after they beat us 20-7 in the season opener....in the fall of 1998.

i'm not old enough to remember it, but many navasota fans remember when hempstead was number one in the state with harvey williams (raiders) at tailback. he was supposed to crush us, but got held in check as the rattlers knocked off the top-ranked bobcats. i believe that was in 1984 maybe? And in 1982, when my mother was pregnant with me, the rattlers and mustangs of madisonville played a game for the district championship. the rattlers scored three times in less than 2 minutes for the comeback win of a lifetime off onside kicks and a pass interference call that moved the ball to the spot of the foul. hey, we'll take it though!

While my old HS Lampasas doesn't have a state title, they have won three very memorable games in my lifetime. The 1986 playoff game against Crane which I believe we won 10-8 by kicking a FG either right at the end of the 4th or as time expired.

There was also the 1993 2nd round playoff game against the Sweeney Bulldogs who had future Longhorn Cedric Woodard on their team, not to mention being ranked 2nd in the state. We won that one 27-21 and intercepted a pass with under a minute to go as Sweeney was driving down the field.

The best one for me I think was 1994 when we first moved up to 4A and had to face off against the LBJ Jaguars at Wildcat Stadium in Temple. They were ranked 10th in the state and were more than 3TD favorites against us and we were even called by our own TV broadcaster Johnny Wheeler as "Those little 'ol skinny boys!" We won that one 20-14 and that was memorable because myself and 5 other freshman were moved up for the playoffs and I got to be on the sidelines that memorable night in Temple. There were so many storylines for that game. It was and always will be the biggest upset I was ever associated with. I still remember hearing the TV broadcast that next week and hearing Mr. Wheeler say, "They've done it! Those little 'ol skinny boys have done it! Those boys from LBJ are gonna take the same walk that Sweeney took last year!" Truly a great night for everyone who was at that game that was pulling for Lampasas.

Even though Burnet made it to the State Finals in 02-03, the most exciting and memorable game for me personally (so far) would have to be the 4 overtime victory this year against a very tough 4A New Braunfels Canyon team in which my son made the winning touchdown. I didn't get my voice back until the following Wednesday:) :D

Well, its hard to pick. But, the most memoriable game this season has to be our win over Navasota in the first round of playoffs. That was a game that I won't forget anytime soon.

La Grange 20 Forney 17 in the 2000 3A State Championship game. Tye Gunn led the Leps in a 96 yard touchdown drive to go ahead in the last 3 minutes of the game.

are you still whining about that game ranger mom? from what i saw your rangers were just as much of it as anyone from Daingerfield. BTW that was 3 seasons ago so MOVE ON, quit dwelling on the past. As for Daingerfield, as far as any game I've seen personally, it'd have to be the Daingerfield/Celina game. But in our history, 3 state championship games, 2 undefeated seasons, 8 points allowed in '83, it'd be hard to choose just one.

Probably the state championship game in '76 or the '98 game vs. marlin.

My most memorable wins would have to be against hutto and manor. We were trailing at halftime to manor and we came back in the 2cd half not allowing any points, i believe. Against hutto we scored with 3 min. remaining. We set up for the field goal and we missed but there was a roughin the kicker call. Our qb rolled out on a pass play and decided to keep it and dove into the endzone to score the winning 2 point conversion.

Since it got brought back, I will say Jasper Waco Connaly from 2003. That was a great game to watch and even better to have been involved with it. That is something that I look back on from my football days and smile. The feeling after the game was insane and cannot be duplicated, for me anyways.

i dont know if this is the most memorable win for STerling High School in Baytown but it has to rank among them....esp. this is the most memorable in the last 20 years....Sterling as many from the souteast know, has had an absolutely dreadful football program for about 20 years now...before that they were good, now they suck....as in they r constantly ranked by data polls as 10-20 teams from last place...Anyways, in 1999 they went to Katy to play the Katy Tigers who were number 1 in the state and hadnt lost a regular season game in 4 years (to put that in perspective their seniors had seen their team only loose in the playoffs, and since they had won 2 state titles i believe that means they had 2 losses in 4 years)....as you can tell since this is the most memorable games Sterling beat Katy, in Katy at their homecoming....final was 28-25 and it was great, if you'd ever seen a game at Katy then u'd understand....the only game that i have ever seen to top it was this years Baylor/A&M game....but that is on a totally different scale....
