In a Bridge City 14-3 win over Silsbee, Hunter "Home run" Hays knocked a hardball an exception distance out over the centerfield fence. Folks are saying it was one of the longest HS HRs that they can remember. Hays earned All-State honors last season as a Sophomore with his unusual frequency skill at the plate. Bridge City has 4 lefties Mott, Haymon, Ellis and Angelle. Kevin Angelle one of the Sophomores got 11 strikeouts in that game.
