I have to agree with this one. But, I can remember not too long ago when the shoe was on the other foot. Sometimes, I can't help but feel sorry for them. Okay not really, but it sounded good!!

Snyder Sweetwater a classic West Texas Rivalry. Athletes handle themselves with class. Very clean game and always great to watch except in the Mustang Bowl

You got that right...LOL! :D

As far as local smack before a game, it would have been the Ingleside/AP game. Heck our cheerleaders and flag guys almost had it out on the track. Ahhhemm, and that was the highlight of the game!:D

If it is a rivalry, then it is the friendliest rivalry in the state.:)

It has become a nice rivalry and I've made some nice "chatting" buddies through it :)

Snyder vs Sweetwater goes back to the 1920s the biggest by far and almost more than just a rivalry. 10,000 people showed up in the last contest between the two. there are only about 21,000 people in both towns combined.

I agree, it's a long time West Texas rivalry. There is however alot of respect for each other. A great group of guys on both sides... If we had a choice in the matter I think both teams would really like to travel all the way to state together, but that's in a perfect world lol... Guaranteed though the Snyder boys would have Sweetwater's back when it came down to the nitty gritty...
GO TIGERS !!! GO STANGS !!! GREAT YEAR FOR WEST TEXAS FB!!!
