we had a play called elaphantitous. its were we would put three of our biggest guys in the backfield and run like a power set. mostly on goal line and short distance plays. if we really felt like having fun we would do it in the middle of the field. The guys that did it were like 235,245,and 250 so you can see why we called it that

We used to have a play called "Guard Around".

The center would snap the ball, but the QB wouldn't take it. After all the defenders go after the QB, the center laid the ball down on the ground, the guard to his right would pick up the ball, and the guard to his left would lead block for the other one.

Port Isabel ran that play in 1990 for a long TD run vs. La Feria right before halftime.

When I played in the San Antonio all star game we had one we called trojan. The FB would turn around and the QB would slip the ball in and drop back like he still had the ball. The FB would sit there for a second and the would turn around with the ball and run.
