Newton plays for a state title and only has one all state member.

This is a crock.

Newton has a jr LB that is as good as anyones.

E. Chambers and Hemphill both lost in the first round of the play-offs and they both have 2 on the team.

Again, what a crock.

I am sorry, I just looked.

The State Champion, Boyd, only has an Honorable Mention
player.

Hey Boyd, All State is a CROCK!!!

But, that is okay, Newton and Boyd were both playing last week when all these other schools had time to campaign.

. just because a great team makes it to the state game, doesnt mean its full of state-best caliber players.....

I am Bitter, and yes I am a has been.

But, I am upset that the two best teams in the state are appreciated like this.

This year, that was the case.

Boyd, Brookshire Royal, and Newton where all playing in Dec. and all where heads and shoulders above anyone else in 2A.

Amen brother. No love for either in my opinion. At least that fast running back from Newton made it. That kid was damn good.

This poll is not going to be as good as the coaches poll. Wait till the real polls come out and I am certain Boyd will be better represented as will Brookshire and Newton.
