Brownfield (3-7)
Liberty-Eylau (4-6)
Carrizo Springs (4-6)
Marion (4-6)

Yeah, 2-8 and in the playoffs is very possible...A few years ago, I believe it was the 1998-1999 season (not really for sure about the years, but I know it was in the late 1990's)Wichita Falls Rider went 2-8 and made the playoffs...It was a funny sight, until they started beating people in the playoffs...I think that they got beat 1 or 2 games before the state championship...The really funny part was, that even if they had won the state championship, they would've still finished with a losing record at
7-8...Anyway, to answer your question, yeah it is possible to be 2-8 and make the playoffs...It doesn't matter if you lose all of your nondistrict games, as long as you win some key district games...That is what Roho (W.F. Rider) did, and apparently that is what happened with this school...

Rider won two playoff games that year. I think they came dang close to winning the third one though. Still an unbelievable sight.

My philosophy on looking for mistakes on the boards is the same as my officiating philosophy...I don't look for tiny little mistakes, they have to be significant ones to draw my attention.

Well,"wildstang", they were in the Division 1 playoffs...So, like I said earlier "they got beat 1 or 2 games before the state championship"...
