Anybody think Smithson Valley can hang with Southlake?

this could be a shootout. i saw smithson valley against some school from the valley right before sinton and cuero played....smithson valley looked pretty good. i know that it would be hard to compare a valley team that had a 3rd string QB to SLC, but i still think that it will be competitive.

smithson valley is very similar to slc...both have risen through the ranks of 4A in the recent past and just have kept on winning in 5A...yeah smithson valley can give them a good game. slc isn't overpowering they are just very good at what they do. smithson valley is very similar.

I think SLC will probably run away with this one. Of couse, like they say, thats why they play em!

I saw SV in the alamodome saturday vs westfield, they are quickon defense(#41 is there best player at middle LB) but they are not great on either side of the ball. I think they may stick with SLC for 1st Qtr, but after that SLC should win by at least 17 points. Nothing against SV but they are not close to SLC on either side of the ball.
