Yes, GSquared, a bull would be considered a male member of the bovines, genus Bos. Is this a Bull fan or player that is going to meet you?

Technically speaking, they are taurines.

Taurus is the sign of the bull.

We know a lot about them, but hardly any are grown around here anymore. There are lots more wild buckeyes coming up in roadside ditches every spring than there ever were sweet potatoes.

Since this is a bovine thread, let me say this also. Another thing we do not have, contrary to what Old Cardinal claims on here from time to time, is a huge dairy industry. You can count the surviving dairies on one hand.

It really makes the chocolate cows mad when you shake them before you drink.

A Buckeye is a poisonous nut. If I had fangs and venom...I would probably be a buckeye.

any of various trees of the horse-chestnut family with large, spiny capsules enclosing shiny brown seeds ..... according to Webster's!:D

P.S. It didn't say anything about being poisonous (but if PPHS says so, that's good enough for me).:D

Actually, the best documented cases of buckeye poisoning usually involve--and isn't this appropriate--bovines. The cattle around here when their pastures give out will attempt to graze on buckeyes. Usually only once, though.

I would imagine Tigers might be prone to making the same mistake. We'll find out tomorrow night.
