WILD GUESS?!

18 carries, uhhhh, 175 yds 3 tds

Commerce's D always steps up in the big games. I don't think Blanton will get his usual 200 this time, but by no means will they "stop" him.

Blanton will get 100 yards, he might get 150, but he didn't get much more than that in the quarterfinals against Commerce last year. I am not real familiar with the teams in region 2. Let me know if Forney has had any competition other than maybe Lindale this year. I will be at the game watching a close friend lead Commerce to a close victory. http://bbs.3adownlow.com/ubb/smile.gif

Blanton will get his yards for sure. If for some strange reason he doesnt then Brown will. I think Wright will get some yards against Forney. Gonna be a good football game and hopefully all will come out of it injury free and make good showings in the play-offs. Tigers by a point at home. hey you gotta believe.

Tigers never quit and tradition never graduates. I think Wright will get his yards and if Commerce will try to throw a little more, specifically to Burrell, it will greatly increase their chances. I think 27-20 Commerce.

blanton will get 200+ and four td's. tradition is just as alive at forney as it is in commerce. the only thing holding back blanton is not having to play in the second half this year. who knows, maybe he is outa shape

I don't think Blanton is out of shape even not playing the second half. I do believe he will have to play it this week. It will be a fun game to watch.

Eye of the tiger, could you please fill me in on the talent of teams that Forney has played this year. I know Lindale was ranked at the time but I'm not sure about anyone else. I have seen nearly all of Commerce's games but i'm not from the area so I don't know much about the region. Thanks. Anybody else with info help me out.

First glance would say Forney had a tough schedule..but looking more closely would maybe say other wise...Aledo is decent but nothing like they have been...they are 6-3 and a pretty good team, WT White is not very good at all....Mabank is mediocre they may make the playoffs in a bad 12-3A..Mexia is usually good but they are pretty average at best..I think they are 5-3 right now in an even worse 19-3A..then Lindale which is by far Forney's best win...Forney whipped a really good team...Commerce has played in non-district a very good Alvarado team and lost...they nearly lost to a bad Pinkston team..they whipped a pretty bad Lake Dallas team...they whipped a decent 2A in Cooper and they whipped a terrible 3A in Linden-Kildare...hmm I'd say Forney has the edge in the schedule dept. that being said I like Forney by 3 TD's

Blanton gets atleast 150, depending on how Commerce plays him. Forney will get close to its 400 yard average. If not Blanton, then Brown. Forney's offense is too much. Forney by several td's.

I think Blanton will get his 200+. Forney may get an opportunity to throw it some, the practice will do them good. I think Tommy Wright will get some decent yds. too. But in the end, if Royse City can move the ball against Commerce, I believe Forney will find a way to move it against the Tigers too.
