When did the original 3A Downlow first go online and who were the founding fathers/mothers? I know Matthew328 was one. Who were some of the first members (nos. 1-5 or so), and are they still active?

gobbla2001 (6-15-01) and bearcat1 (6-19-01) were the founding 'fathers' - bearcat1 is a girl...both are still active....

I guess I could have researched my question more by using the "member" button and doing a "date joined" search. THis search shows the following for the first 5 members listed:

Administrator 12/31/69
Gobbla2001 06/15/01
Matthew328 06/16/01
Swampdude 06/18/01
LH Panther 06/19/01

I talked to jacket2000 a month or two ago, and if I remember right he told me that him and bearcat really only support Jared (I think that was the town, I know it was something like that). So she very rarely visits the anymore

wow 12/31/69 huh, thats along time ago, i didnt know the net existed back then...:D, musta been kinda lonely on here for about 30 years...

1969 is the default number if no number is given. Administrator just never fixed his. He IS member #1 though. 3A Downlow existed for a couple of seasons before they got the bbs. They used to just talk on the guest book of the old home page.
