Early Season Predictions

Can anybody prove from earlier season posts that they picked any of the teams currently left in the playoffs? Sintonfan says he picked Cuero to go all the way, and claims PPHSfan is on record as picking Gilmer. I didn't get on here until Sept. so I can't look very "prophetic". Anybody else want to stake a claim to fame?

In PPHSFan's defense. I remember him saying that on the phone.:p

I predicted that Sweetwater would be one of the best teams in region 1 even though they were not considered to be in most teams top 25. I also think that they are an early favorite for the region 1 small school title next year and maybe even a state contender.

Aw heck, I think we can spot him that one Sintonfan---I think he has been on the Gilmer bandwagon since Sept. with numerous posts predicting Gilmer's success.

Keith....man I tried to tell you guys that Perryton was another panhandle pretender....but nobody would listen. You fell into the trap of believing the hype started by Dave Campbell!!!! However...even with that mistake you did pretty good!

i said liberty would be one and done...but they proved me wrong..they went out second round

so far I havent missed a game yet ... all my teams are still playing! but for some reason I cant find the thread in which my picks appear. Oh well, you'll just have to trust me! :evillaugh

After last years run and with so many returners back, I picked Vernon to win it all. They didn't even make the dance so I guess it goes to show what I know.

I did pick Iowa Park as my darkhorse in region I and they did very well.

I didn't predict but I predict that UT will be playing in the rose bowl on January 1, 2005. :)
