Hurricane Ivan a longhorn fan???

As you know Cal got screwed out of their BCS spot because they had a bad first half against Southern Miss.. This game was sopposed to be played September 16th, until Hurricane Ivan came along and cancled it.. so if Hurricane Ivan wouldnt have came along then that game would be in the past leaving BCS voters to see Cal's last to games were blowouts (42-12 against Washington, and 41-6 against Stanford) and would have definently gotten a BCS bid...

What if that game was played back in September and Cal would have lost? Which is a possibility because Southern Miss was at it's peak back then, having beat a few ranked teams on the road and was in the top 25.

So if Cal would have played that game, I think they would have lost, giving them 2 losses on the season and making this argument moot.

LOL!! :clap: at that time Southern Miss had only played ONE game, and that one game was against Nebraska and they only won 21-17.. haha hardly a top 25 team

I think Cal would have won. I think it's very interesting. What's not interesting is the BCS games.

I wanna see Texas vs. Auburn and Cal vs. Utah. I know how the system works, but I hate it.

i wish somebody that was better than pittsburg would have gotten utah. i think they need to do away with the automatic bid for the big east. Back when virgina tech and miami were in there it was a good conference now its a joke and pittsburgs bcs bowl bid should have gone to Cal
