Just an idea 303....many of these posters may not know some of these players by name. If you don't mind doing some reference work, you might be able to accept votes by team-position, i.e.,

Running back-Sinton
Running back-Decatur
Running Back-Snyder

I realize this might be more work for you, and maybe some could help with the names. Anyhow, food for thought.

You should leave the 3A downlow all state picks to matthew...now you do whatever you want but you shouldn't represent it as his site's picks.

Keith, Latreal wasn't able to play this year.. You may be thinking of Larvell Roy though... Latreal, IMO, would be up there if he wouldn't have messed up his knee in pre season against GP. He's working hard making great progress and we'll be ready for next year.

how can you not mention Manuel Johnson of Gilmer as one of the top 3 qb's. that's ludicrous. 3500 yrds. passing 40 TD'S 8INTs.
another 900 plus rushing w/ 11TDS..Has lead his team, 2/3 OFF./DEF starters back from last years team to a 14-0 record.
Can any other 3a QB top that........

I didn't get to see too many great offensive players this year because, well, Cuero's D shut down a lot of good players.

Franco-Sinton...42 TD's is absolutely ridiculous on any level of football
Fleuronir(spell?)-Wharton...doesn't get much work with Jones tossing the ball around but the kid is an awesome LB and next year he'll get his carries
Larvell Roy-Cuero...wasn't sposed to vote for hometown players but you've gotta be impressed when the starting FB and 3rd string RB does what he has done...didn't get the carries with all the talent last year but he got them this year and has done everything he could to prove he's the man

He was overrated....he was fast kinda but when he came through the hole he got popped...repeatedly...and hard...Harryman and Haynes were always waiting for him in the hole but on the edge he was pretty dangerous

Well the d-line couldn't tackle him. I guess y'all are lucky to have those linebackers.

Yea, we were lucky to have linebackers, I mean it's not like every defense ever conceived hasn't had linebackers:eek:

I would nominate Madison WR Philip Sterling. If you saw the kid this year, you'd know why it's next to impossible to not bring safety help when trying to cover him. I don't know what his final stats were, but I know that he was averaging about 28 yards a catch through most of the regular season. He might not have the catch totals of some other WR's, but that was due to Madison spreading the ball around to so many different players on offense.

there is a reason the offense does that.... but if the kid isnt a 900 yard/year reciever... no mention...
