Sinton Basketball

Sinton plays at 11am Saturday in GP tournament at GP High School. I think the opponent will be Port Lavaca but not definite. Sinton is 0-2 in the tournament. They have lost to Austin St. Michael and Ingleside! Yesterday's first quarter against Ingleside was the worst quarter of ANY Sinton team I have ever seen! The score at the end of the quarter was 17-0! Sinton eventually got within six points late in the game but lost 49-40. I'm not sure that was the exact score but it is close. ALL the football players are now out and it will take awhile to jell but they will get it together! Next regular season game is Tuesday in Yorktown.

Sinton lost to Calallen because of starting off on the wrong foot and getting behind 11 to 0. They eventually lost the game by, you guessed it , 11 points.
