Since folks will be coming from all over & I have the misfortune of not having a portable pit/grill :( (in addition to not being much of a party planner ;)), Jason & I thought meeting around 12 in the home parking lot for sandwiches would be a good idea. I'll bring lots of the "usual" sandwich fixin's so the don't have to be hauled from everywhere. If there's anything special anyone likes, just let me know. Or, if you prefer, feel free to bring you own makings. :) Even you don't want to eat, come join us! I promise, you'll meet some really nice folks.

Between 12:30 & 1:00, folks can sign the t-shirt (in the "meet here" spot) and take pictures. Hope to see you all there. :)

LHPM - I'll be going in pretty much as soon as they open the gates so I may miss y'all, but I'll try to hang around outside long enough to meet a few folks.

I'll be finding out tomorrow if we can actually use a portable grill - hubby reminded me that we have one & could do sausage wraps.

Is the stadium off of 620 or 1431? How far East of 183 is it? Does anyone know what the weather is supposed to be like? Thanks.

The stadium is between 620 & 1431, but closer to 620. Parmer is roughly 1-2 miles east of 183. According to the paper today, the high for Sat. is 63, cloudy, with 30% chance of rain.

Thanks LHMom. Sounds like a good day for football. I'm going to try to make the game if possible.

Good Luck!

We are definatly planning to make the game. We have to be at a funeral in Oatmeal at 10:00 but should be able to make it to the stadium by 1:00. I would really like to sign the shirt and be there for the picture. Im not sure about the directions. I will be going to Liberty Hill from Oatmeal then Im just guessing that I will take 183 south then left on 1431 then right on Parmer, stadium on right? Does thar sound right LH Panther Mom?

...and if you go down 620, would you also hit Palmer and take a left?

Tx Challenge

honeymd,

technically yes if you are traveling 183 South to 620 then you would turn left on 620 and left onto Parmer (Right lane exit) and the staduim would be on your left. However ypur best bet traveling 183 South from the LH area would be to take 1431. The congestion is much less.

Not sure if that is what you were asking!

Hey LH Panther Mom, is there any way to put up a 3ADL poster board sign or something at the tail gate party so we will know which one to stop at?

LH Panther Mom
12-03-2004, 06:55 AM
Certainly! I'll try to get #55 to make one (he's more artistic than I), but he piddles sometimes. ;) If that doesn't work, I'll just write it out. Also, hopefully there won't be many 6'6" guys tailgating. :D

LH Panther Mom

Folks, we'll be there with the grill a little before noon to get it heated up. Jason is bringing some of his "world famous" sausage & we'll bring tortillas, plus some extra sausage just in case. I have a silver Mercury mini-van & I'll try to get a sign made.

The shirt will be there, so please, if you haven't had an opportunity to sign it yet, make a point. We'll stick around outside until around 1:15 or so. Hope to see you all there!

I'll call 44INAROW with game updates periodically. Good luck to both teams for injury-free, hard fought game.

GO PANTHERS - Go get a Brahma! Steak sounds good for supper! :p :D

Everyone be safe and drive carefully!

Best wishes to the Panthers & Brahmas!
(Although, it appears that Panthers will come out on top, too much LH offense for the Brahamas.)

Will the game be on the Pathercast?

LH Panther Mom

We stopped Panthercast after last season.....too many problems with TSRN. It will be on the radio, on KBAY-FM. Our paper says 92.5, but I'm not sure that's right - or maybe 94.5 also feeds to 92.5.

Radio, Which i doubt I could hear all the way down this way. Anything on any website????? If not can someone keep us updated, I will be home during the day today, too cold to go anywhere. :)

guess i'll settle for watching Ennis/Sherman at SMU, listening to SoutlakeCarrol/Denton Ryan on the radio, and getting text message updates from this game ...

Ranger Mom

I don't know where I will be, I somehow got roped into helping my brother and sister-in-law move.

3afan...if Jason is texting you, will you have him do the same for me?
