All of the songs on the list actually have lyrics that can be understood and have meaning. With most of the songs now, you can't even understand what the hell is being said. I don't really care for the oldies, but they definately are goodies.

Good thread!

Whenever I think of "You've lost that loving feeling" by the Righteous Brothers, I picture Tom Cruise singing it in "Top Gun".

Classic song.....great movie!

These people were obviously smoking something when they made this list....i mean...come one...

187 Back in Black AC/DC

196 Sweet Child O' Mine Guns N' Roses

They obviously forgot about (who i consider, the two greatest rock bands of all times, and just said...oh crap we forgot about GNR and AC/DC....oh well...just stick them in there somewhere)

And...lol....i like the rolling stones as much as the next guy....but they have no right to have about 5 songs before they get to Hendrix's first (purple haze..which i dont consider his best)

the list is BS if you ask me

yea I agree stairway to Heaven is pretty over rated.

Its only over rated to ppl who dont play the guitar, most ppl who play electric guitar and rock music consider it a mile stone when you can play it.

STH overrated? I dont think so...maybe overplayed...its the most played rock song on radio of all time....a song doesnt get that designation by being overrated...

"Rolling Stone" sucks. Too much left-leaning political B.S.

Looks like a good list except all the newer-ish stuff is on there...as in the last 5 years...there needs to be a cut off for things like this. But oldies are goodies as someone said back down there...still don't like rap but that's my opinion...
