View Full Version : Sinton fans in the know. what happened to the tennis courts?

i saw the construction and wonder if they expanding the high school tennis courts? i heard lights were going up, but they tore down everything and are doing earthwork there.

Guess they wanted to do them up big! :D New courts with lights -- FINALLY!!

if they are redoing them, it looks like it will double in size of the old ones

I don't know if they are doubling. I wouldn't be surprised if they put in lights. They are going to have stands around them too. What they are doing is fixing them up where they can have tennis tournaments there.

I never understood why Sinton didn't have a lighted court. Taft has one and Portland has a couple of them. It's about time Sinton came into the modern age.;)

actually im suprised they havent built covered seating for the baseball field before they spent a dime on tennis. football, baseball and basketball have always been Sinton's bread and butter. does gp have 2 gyms in their nice new school?

44 - GP has 2 gyms in the new school, 100 yds across the street is the "old" new gym (with 360 degree seating) and, of course, the original old gym next to that. 4 gyms within 300-400 feet of each other!

what did they do with their old high school? is it the jr. high now?
