Who do you have it through?? I tried to get DSL through SBC, but evidently I am in a dead spot. They tried to tell me I lived too far away from "the box" which is in Midland....but I told them people who lived behind the school had it and they are further away from Midland than me!! Let me be the first to call you lame. ;) You should be able to find a greatest hits or best of tape. Have you never heard "Hotel California"? That's probably the most recognized song, but there are many, many more.

The Eagles have two greatest hits cds. The first has the older songs from the early 70's and the second has "Hotel California" on it which is one of my favorites. My daughter, who is almost 16, loves that song, too.

CHS-you won't take care of the doggy--I can't in good conscience ask a fellow Mom to do something like that. Personally, I want a car that never needs gas or maintenance of any kind (oil changes inc), a live-in cook and housekeeper, and health and happiness for us all! If i can't have that, I'll take a week on a sunny beach with no responsibility! If I can't have that, I'll take a w/e on a beach. I'll settle for world peace, health and happiness. Aim high, settle higher, that's my theory!

i take care of our two cats and bird. the reason she doesnt want us to have a dog is bc we live about 200 yards from RR tracks and she wants to fence in our big back yard b4 we get a dog.

I would still love if ya convinced her to get a small one that can be indoor/outdoor:D :kiss: :kiss:

CHS-cats are a breeze and a bird is just messy, but not hard. Dogs are harder to take care of. HOWEVER, as a dog lover, if you need assistance convincing her and the RR is an issue, how about a kennel/fenced area? Now I have spent literally thousands keeping my three dogs in a fenced area (fenced just for them), after the fence, we did the electrical thing, that only hurt them and they continued under, I had an engineer friend guarantee 1x8 inch boards in 5" trenches around the perimeter, stapled to the chain link with a special strong stapler would keep them in--not so. Then we added chicken wire to the fenced area under the dirt attached to the 1x8's. Now the dogs are older, dig holes just to upset me and then lay in the darn dirt!!! So, I don't guarantee the fence or kennel, just a suggestion. I don't guess if you got a male dog you'd consider naming him Bull or Brahma or anything like that? What about Bell for a female? Just a thought....
