Is it football played in communist countries of which not many are left since the early 1900s? About half of Europe became communist from about 1945 - early 1900s and that was more of being under occupation by dictators than communist choice.

I believe your beloved soccer or futbol would be considered "commie football". I don't consider it that. Just my opinion of what he could have meant.

If it is soccer show me historical facts. From what I can see it wasn't discovered in a communist country and in fact was played long before communism existed. Facts pleasseeeee!

Phil, if it was not developed in the good ole USA it is at least Liberal. If it is liberal, it is socialist. If it is socialist, then it is communististic. What could be more plain?  :D :D

There arent many wrestling programs in 3a either. Navasota just got their soccer team. It was just a club until they went undefeated last year. Beating brenham, the state champs.

The earliest known soccer (and it was not like modern soccer) was played in Japan. However modern soccer was first played by England so England is considered the father of modern soccer.

And back then England was a true monarchy, which is basically the same as a dictatorship, which is basically communism.

Commie football...there is your proof, and you proved it yourself.

Lets DON'T waste 3A financial resources on a boring foreign sport. Football already has enough to pay for. Most districts entire budget for athletics are primarily funded by football. I say leave the wussyball to the foreigners.

Sure is popular among the hispanic population and with that population now outnumbering the anglos (in our schools statewide) I expect it won't be long before we see a lot more soccer teams than we do now...won't hurt my feelings. I know Jasper had a soccer team at one time...do they still?
