Wow...they finally closed the the thread...it had a long run that's for sure...since early this year... rest in peace "Word Association Thread."

it only got closed because there were 84 other 'association' threads....and people were abusing it to raise post totals...

Or if it is abused we can always do like the 4-A site and make a general chit-chat forum (where association threads would belong) and it doesn't go toward your post count AT ALL!!:eek:

that would ruin the site.. we need to have 1 forum, the 4A site has too many Forums and it ruined the site

Calm down Keith, I said that "tongue in cheek"!!

Ask any of the other moderators, I have said on more than one occasion that I think the one forum makes this board what it is...and if it changed to a multiple forum site I would lose interest and probably end up leaving!

The way it's set up, putting us all together (whether some of them like it or not) is what makes the "family atmosphere" which so many boards strive for but can't seem to achieve....IMO anway!!!:p

I shall miss the word association. I posted on her 67 times. Not to boost my post totals but rather because I genuinely enjoyed the thread.
