Next Year you are hosting the Women's final four National Championship finals in NCAA soccer. I don't know the dates but let's fill that stadium full for the four games so that they will want it there every year from now on. It would be great to have the games every year in Texas and you have that opportunity so let's be ready to get those tickets Aggies and everyone else! Plus there is a good chance (but not definite - you know how soccer is) that the Lady Aggies and Lady Horns will be there.

Thats awesome. Im excited because I didnt get the chance to go the games this year due to circumstances, i.e. profs who like to give out tons of quizzes and such. Thanks for the update Phil.

College Station is also holding the tennis national championships this year, which is good that its a shorter drive, so us Baylor fans can take over College Station, like we did Tulsa last year.

Yea Bull someone needs to tell the Aggie profs to take it easy on the students that weekend so they can attend all the games and College Station needs to show up so they can have great attendence and maybe bring the games again there and maybe even establish a home. And don't get me wrong in saying the profs need to lower their standards but they have a whole year to plan their schedule and arrange for students to have a slight breather that weekend ;). It would be great for the sport and the state to have it in Texas because weather conditions here in early December are much more favorable than in the rest of the country at that time of year.

Hey Phil C... did you know that a new attendance record was set by the Aggies...

"All totaled on the season, Texas A&M brought home two Big 12 Titles, five All-Big 12 honors, including Big 12 Rookie of the Year, six Big 12 All-Tournament team members and a national attendance record.

According to NCAA record books, the record for total annual home attendance for a women’s soccer program was 38,350, set by North Carolina in 1999. However, UNC lists their attendance for that season at 18,995.

The Aggies surpassed both those marks as 39,069 fans came through the turnstiles in 2004 to set the national attendance marks. The Aggies also led the nation in average attendance throughout the season."

Could be why we are hosting the Women's final four National Championship finals in NCAA soccer...

No offense intended CHS or Aggies but that is mighty small compared to Myers Stadium in Austin which seats 20,000 and had over 10,000 in attendance at the games two years ago. Are they going to expand it or something? I hope so.

I hope they expand it. It really is small and gets very crowded. People are always sitting in the grass right by the sidelines. A lot of people are always getting hit with stray balls too. They also need a new speaker system. oh well. Maybe all the old Ags will pitch in to re-do the soccer complex.
