So the Mesquite schools whined about the two Tyler schools and Longview joining their district, citing travel as the major reason, and the Conroe, North Houston schools griped about Lufkin joining their district, because a "back woods" little East Texas team doesn't belong down there in a district with the "big boys".:rolleyes:
However, next week it is a matchup of former district rivals as 12-0 Longview goes up against 12-0 Lufkin. Both teams are having tremendous years, and it's a shame that one has to leave the playoffs after this one.
So much for not belonging huh?
