cuero had a big problem gaining 1 yard for a first down on 2nd, 3rd and sometimes 4th down.... they would gain 9 yards and then get stuffed after that... reeve needs to just gain those 9 yards and run a qb sneak... quit trying to be fancy against a bad@$$ defense likes wimberley's... it was a great game and a great win for us... i cant wait until next friday

OK, this game looked like a state final game. Just one question, what does Wimberley feed those boys, that team was way bigger than cuero, and they wanted the game, more than cuero did I should say, and almost(probly should have) pulled it out.

But for the second week in a row, the Cuero defense picked up their level about ten knotches in the final minutes of the game. Wow is all I hafta say. Cuero literally escaped a texan team that played with all their hearts, and let me be the first to say, Cuero shouldn't have won the game, but things happen.

Ya, you heard me, cuero should be staying home next week, but luck was on our side tonight, along w/ our defense, and a little luck never hurt anyone.

dude theres no such thing as luck.... cuero won because they were the better team... wimberley kept it close with an awesome defense and their offense did all right at times but we stopped them when we had to and scored when we had to

Our boys played hard, but they didn't play smart. A couple of those long receptions they tried to pick off and Wimberely dropped one in the endzone on like 3rd and 20 from the 25 and he was wide open. The coaches were screaming for everyone to back up and nobody moved, beats his man and nobody is over the top, drops game-winner, we erupt. Texans came ready and if it weren't for a few key plays they'd be the ones going to the next round.

WHEW.. what a game........ funky fog covered the field.. it was weird looking.... thankfully the rain stayed away long enough for the game to be played. Texans have a great team, shame someone had to be on the losing end of this one. Could have gone either way the entire game!

Wimberley was huge. They matched up well with the Gobblers. Cuero could have easily lost this game but they wouldn't give up. Both these teams played just as hard in the fourth quarter as in the first minutes.

Man - what a ballgame! This one went down to the wire. I've never had the opportunity to attend one of our district opponents' playoff games, sit amongst their fans and hear some of their particular yells. It was kind of funny - when we played Wimberley, there were a number of times that I thought the fans were booing. What I learned tonight is they were actually yelling "Buse". :)

Wimberley players, you did our district proud tonight. You went there to win & you did. The score may have been in Cuero's favor, but you guys played a phenomenal game. Thanks for letting us share tonight with you.

talk alot of crap and I guess your boys had to go to I-Hop to get those pancakes you talked about? Also your QB only had 2 sack's prior to playing Wimberley because no team was capible but I think Wimberley gave about 4+ to his total tonight.
