looks like 1-3a and 2-3a are knocked OUT of the playoffs this year :(

Swater kicks 32-yard field goal which was good, Cooper called for roughing the kicker, Swater keeps the ball, 1st and goal on the Pirate 7-yard line. 2:55 left in 4th

Turn out the lights, Pirates, the party's over

BTW, article in the Lubbock paper today on Cooper-Sweetwater game. Cooper players mentioned that they read the internet postings. wonder why none of them or Cooper fans ever post here on the D'low? Shy, I guess.

RM: so if Canyon loses to Wylie, there ain't no 3A football from districts 1, 2, and 3. Guess all of that talk about 4-3a being a toughie turned out right on the mark! Snyder beat Muleshoe like a red-headed stepchild. :mad:
