Bubba Joe asked his wife Betty Sue what she'd like for Mother's Day. "I'd love to be
six
again", was her reply.
On the morning of Mother's Day, Bubba Joe arose early, made momma a nice big bowl
of
Lucky Charms,
and then took her to Six Flags theme park.
What a day! Ole Bubba Joe put her on every ride in the park: the Death Slide, the
Wall
of Fear, the Screaming
Monster Roller Coaster, everything there was.
Five hours later Bubba Joe and Betty Sue staggered out of the theme park. Betty Sues' head was
reeling
and her stomach
felt upside down. Bubba Joe then took his sweet thing to a McDonald's where Bubba Joe ordered Betty Sue a
Happy Meal with
extra fries and a chocolate shake. Then it was off to a movie, popcorn,
a
soda pop, and Beety Sues' favorite candy, M&M's. What a fabulous adventure!
Finally Betty Sue wobbled home with Bubb Joe and collapsed into bed
exhausted.
Bubba Joe leaned over
Betty Sue with a big smile and lovingly asked, "Well Momma, what was it
like
being six again?"
Betty Sues' eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed. "I meant my
dress size, you dumb A
The moral of the story: Even when a man like Bubba Joe is listening, he is gonna get it
wrong.
