Just got back from the bonfire 2:42 AM service

was held at the exact time bonfire fell.....

I've had times that i was proud to be an aggie, and maybe times i haven't lived up to the ideals of a fightin texas aggie, but this service makes put in persepctive what the aggie familly is....

a simple service. the families coming to be there for roll call....then the whole aggie family being called circle around each other tightly, silently reflecting and praying, then singing a acapello version of the spirit of aggieland....

may the souls of the 12 killed rest in peace

I wish I would have gone. Don't forget that if you can't make the dedication it will be televised on channel 3 (or whatever KBTX is for you) starting at 2.

I couldnt make it last night due to having to go see one of my professors this morning and needed sleep, but I will be at the ceremony at 2:30 today. If anyone has the chance to make this, I encourage you all to come.
