da Mules have played 2 games this year when they were hitting on all 8, Levelland and Perryton... when they are clickin' they are hard to stop, and they are darn good at stopping. IF they click at Lowrey this Friday, they will come out on top. They have the speed to stop D Walker and Co.

well lets see... snyder eased passed levelland and rolled over estacadoand took care of andrews and came out with a win IN wylie, not that it matters, the better team will win, not to be a homer but in my opinion it will be snyder! This will be a battle of the defenses

Snyder 42, Muleshoe 12

well the Mules did NOT click tonight. D Walker showed why he is one of the top backs in Region 1 with about 180 yards. Mule RB Brady Black had a good game with about 200 yards, and way too many tackles from free safety position. Our pass defense was horrible to non-existent; from a close game @ 14-6 in the middle of the 2nd quarter, Snyder broke da Mules' back with 2 long TD passes in the 2nd to go up 28-6 before the second half. The Tiger coaches did their homework and knew where to burn da Mules for 2 TD's. Muleshoe took the 2nd half kickoff and drove to the 2-yard line, only to lose it on a fumble. I think that took all of the wind out of their sails.. Snyder's 2nd string drove in a couple of touchdowns after that.

On the positive side, most pundits picked da Mules to finish dead last in district 2-3a. The kids certainly showed what they were made out of this season. But they played two poor games; one against River Road and this one tonight. It hurts to see the kids play poorly in the area round, but that's the way the ball bounces... it's just a game.

Congrats to the Snyder Tigers.. go get Iowa Park next week!

Da Mules thanks for the positive coments. You have a very quality football team very well coached. They will be a force next year as well. You team handled themselves with class. It was a lot closer game then the score. The Walker kid is good and so is the B. Black. He is very talented. Hope you pull for us now as we would for you if it had been diff.

We will be supporting West Tx and Region 1 all the way. I think we're gonna see a Snyder- Sweetwater rematch. I like BOTH of these teams so it's hard to "pull" too much for one or the other. For now, you Tigers tear up some Hawks OK?
