Forney looking good in 7 on 7

Wow...Forney's suprising a lot of people this off-season...and yes....without Blanton. forney has won a couple of tournaments and lost to Coppell in the finals of the SMU 7 on 7. Forney beat Mesquite in the Semi's. Forney also beat Commerce pretty handily in one of the tournaments. Junior QB Caleb Hanie is playing amazing....man he can throw the ball and he has some good receivers to work with.

I heard Forney lost to Canyon Randall and Randall did not place in the top 8 at the Texas Tech 7 on 7.

Personally, I think the only thing that winning a 7-on-7 tournment shows is that you have a good 7-on-7 team. Once the pads go on, it's a whole different game. Speaking of which, is it September yet?!
