According to Jason Becker's Texas Baseball News Texas signed 9 of the top 25 Texas baseball recruits recently. They signed a total of 19 players (15 high schoolers and 4 junior college transfers). They had lots of scholarships to give since they lost several seniors from last years team. One of the players is Riley Boening of Yoakum. It looks like Texas is doing good in recruiting this year in nearly all of the sports. They have already done well in men and women's basketball, softball, volleyball (well I hope they can sign a spiker), and golf. I haven't heard how they have done in soccer. Hopefully it will be good too.
