it's actually quite simple, and gives you leftovers for a while

Make spaghetti with your favorite ingredients and enjoy with pasta as you normally would
Refridgerate Leftover sauce (you can add the noodles if you want)
(this allows the flavors to blend well)
Then, the next day take sauce (w/ or w/o noodles) and add liquids and other things that you would like in your soup....our family usually adds zuchini, tomato sauce, corn (if dad makes it) and anything else that comes to mind
Stir and simmer to allow more flavor blending

Bread:
This is good either with the spaghetti or the soup....
Take your favorite kind of bread (i prefer the french baggettes--yeah french and italian can mix)
place bread slices on cookie sheet and set oven to broil
mix melted butter, rosemary, oregano, garlic, and any other seasonings together in small bowl and brush on bread
Place in oven and watch carefully-it may burn!
Remove, Serve, and Enjoy!

I think that's enough for today's cooking class! lol:D

I'm HUNGRY now!!!:p

Even though I am not a native of Port Isabel, I have learned the ways of their people :D Here is a good recipe, I picked up from my mom-in-law.

Stuffed Shrimp

Stuffing

Peel and boil potatoes and smash them
Mice/dice green pepper, onion, crab meat
(You may add or substitute and other spice or veggie to your liking)
Mix everything together and this is your stuffing.

Shrimp

De-vain and butterfly with tail LARGE shrimp
Place your stuffing on shrimp
Wrap a slice of bacon around shrimp to close in stuffing and secure with toothpick

Dip
In one bowl you put in 3 Egg and 2-3 cups of milk and season to taste

In a large plate put in Corn meal or cracker meal with Cajun spice (or you may use already prepared “fish fry”.) Place already dipped shrimp, in corn meal and completely cover shrimp with corn meal/cracker meal/ fish fry. (If you prefer thicker crust you can double dip, replace in egg and back into flour)

Fry

Use medium pot or use a fryer with plenty of oil to cover all shrimp. Oil must be very hot to avoid batter coming off. Do not turn shrimp until it’s starts to look golden brown.

*TIP: for minimal oil burning place 3-4 large cloves of garlic in hot oil BEFORE placing shrimp in oil.

ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for pointing that typo out YaYa, I thought you were being your silly self LOL! :D Man, I gotta tell you'll something about this post. Today I was looking for it at work because I knew I had it on my computer at work so I copied and pasted on here. Well mind you, I am doing this in between work. I don't know how, but I print out this same report and looked at it and it looks good, so I send it off to him. Well, somehow this EXACT same recipe ends up in the middle of the report!!!!! Not knowing what to say I say, "You didn't like the recipe? he says yes, but I can't use it right now, I need my numbers! So imagine my surprise YaYa when NOW, I also see that TYPO!!!LOL!!!!:o :D :o

Litter Box Cake

1 box of yellow cake mix (or choose your own flavor)
1 package of tootsie rolls
1 package of vanilla wafers or cooking of your choice
1 new cat litter box and scoop (Would not recommend using a used litter box)

Bake cake according to box instructions, place cake into litter box.
Crumble cookies into consistency of kitty litter and completely cover the cake so the pan appears to be full of kitty litter. Take tootsie rolls and bend them into the shape of cat poop and artfully place them in to the cookie "litter". An added touch would be to place a grain of rice in the tootsie roll to make it appear like tapeworms. Serve cake with the cat litter scoop.
