someone. . . my 3 choices would be Mart, Crawford, and Rogers, all central texas teams with a record of 32-1 RIGHT now between the 3 schools.

Div 2 will come down to Celina, Rogers or Crawford.
Div 1 will come down to Newton or Boyd.

Nothing against them, just looked at schedule, but I really think that they are not as good as there record says.

Boyd must be pretty good.

Watch out for Brookshire Royal.

Go Newton!

That's your assessment and I respect it. But, just like my beloved Buckeyes, the Quitman Bulldogs have fallen victim to a schedule that is less than impressive. And like my Buckeyes, it's not their fault that the teams they played have been sub-par. The Bulldogs are for real. Trust me on that. They go four rounds at least.

In order to go four rounds they have to beat Newton. If you stand by this, that is a bold statement.

u guys seem to know something about newton.....i saw them last year in bi-district when they destroyed fairfield and i know that they are awesome again this year, but i think that the newton/teague game is going to be a dandy this weekend between two teams that are very similair in style of play.....i am going to be at that game, so if you know anything let me know, or let me know of some paper or publication where i can find articles or stats

I really don't know much about Newton or Teague, except that they were both 3A teams, (Newton a very successful one) that moved to 2A.

I do know however, that Quitman is a very good football team, and despite their opponents, they have an excellent shot at going a long way.

I don't think Newton has the team to do it this year. I could be wrong but their scores against some this year are not near what they have been in the past. We shall see.

The only way WW upsets Celina is if the Bobcats miss the bus.

they beat mart just to get into the playoffs, and if they would have ran up the score against rosebud lott then they wouldnt have had to beat mart just to get in. teague has a good team and shouldnt be over looked

Or they could score more points than the Bobcats. Either way works.

I may be going out on a limb here, but the most improved team in 2A the past few yrs must go to Yorktown. When I was in hs a few yrs ago, they always were an 0-10 or 1=9 team, now the past few years they have had winning records including this yrs. 9-2 outing, but I don't see them or anyone getting past rogers in Reg. 4!

Lexington takes it this time guys..... Rogers squeaked by them in district when the Eagles QB was hurt. With the aggie commit back they beat Rogers and every one by 3 td's.........
