In NCAA Women's College Basketball Texas wins Baylor loses!

Today Baylor played a great game against No. 3 ranked LSU and actually had a chance to win in the last few seconds but couldn't get a good shot off and lost 71 to 70. They inbounded the ball with 21 seconds left and may have let too many seconds get off before working it in for the score but it was just that close a game. Nevertheless a great effort by the Lady Bears.

The Texas Lady Longhorns started the season off good against No. 21 Penn State who had whipped them last year at about this time by the score of 84 to 69. Good start Ladies!!

In women's college basketball the sport has been dominated by either Connecticut or Tennessee the last 10 years as these teams have won 8 of them (Connecticut has won the last three years but Diana is gone. :) ) Hopefully this year we will have a new one. Tennessee is still No. 1 and they let Connecticut off the hook at No. 4. :mad: Still at least Diana is gone and is playing in the desert in Arizona. :D
