Will Gainesville be able to use their prior loss to pull it out or will Decatur come up on top once again?

non-biased yes but also somewhat accurate--- Decatur has already won once this year and Gainesville will use every bit of that to try to turn the tables. I think it will be a evenly matched game-- (but i still want Decatur to win so i voted for them)

isnt it ironic in the poll that decatur is represented by red and their color is blue and g-ville is represented by blue and their color is red?

Is there an underdog here or not? Hard to tell...both are excellent football teams...Decatur has the edge since they have beat them once already. This time I give the edge to Gainesville. Maybe they are the underdog.

good luck to both teams...

Should be a great one... Franklin was out on injury last time they played decatur and Purvey had the flu and played a little over a quarter.

The closer we get to this game the less Purvey played in the first game. I was there on the field before the game and Purvey was hopping around like a Jackrabbit ready to run and he did'nt look sick to me. Now after it was 44-14 he didnt look to good!

i guess maybe he should of puked on you instead of on the sideline, then you would of realized that he was sick.

I'm not suggesting that he wasn't sick or anything, but I do find it suspicious that he wasn't puking during pre-game or during the first quarter. Btw, I was on the field, I know he was bent over on the sidelines appearantly puking during the second half, but all I saw during the first half was the trainers stretching his calfs. I hope everyone is healthy this week, that way there won't be any excuses or questions about who the best team is after this one, whoever wins!!!

UIL website shows Gainesville VS. Decatur and Azle VS. Aledo both on Friday night at Dragon Stadium. Which one is correct?

I noticed that on the DMN website. I don't think they've caught it yet.

it doesnt really matter to me who wins, but i would like to see gainesville pull off an up-set beacause they have to be the under-dog already losing to decatur once this year
