Can anyone post the stats for the Jasper game? The Beaumont Enterprise only had the score. Typical Beaumont Ent treatment of Jasper!!!

I know for a fact the sports editor at the Enterprise has been called several times about the lack of info for local games. If you want stats on a team in Austin........get the enterprise! This topic always chapps my hide.

wish I knew too...I can guess for you since I was at the game...

Diboll passing 100 yards on mostly 2 big plays.
Diboll rushing 90 yards tops. Don't remember but one rush around 8-9 yards.

Jasper about 75 yards passing...didn't throw the ball deep much at all. Ran all kind of bubble passes..3 in a row at one point when we were driving it down their throats running the ball.
Jasper probably had around 220 yards rushing.
Moye probably had 130 yards. Bronson probably 35. Patton had a very long run called back...can't remember him gaining too many yards maybe 45. Other bronson had a couple of nice runs for about 30 yards.

Pure guesses and I could be way off.

What about my boy #45, Chris Bronson? He made 2 good runs for at least 15 yards each.

Jasper was really prepared for what Diboll had to bring....This was Diboll's worst offensive output all year. Great job jasper defense. LIke I said before...I thought if Diboll would hold Moye on check, they would have a chance....and looked who was the workhorse for Jasper.....interesting note.....Moye was the only player in over 100 yards in any category.

Diboll played some good defense and kept them close, but the offense couldn't make anything happen. They had a chance to score as they were at the 5 yard line with a 4th and 1 but failed to convert.

Moye will be one to watch..he's a great player and only a sophmore....

Only good note Diboll came out with was they held the dogs to 13 points...2nd lowest on the year, PNG held them to 10.

Diboll's defense did a good job the whole night. Jasper seem to shoot themselves in the foot everytime the got a sniff of the redzone. Was a well played game defensively for both teams and the offenses both had far from their best performances due partly to the good defenses.

How do you get 26 yards worth of penalties  The refs must have rolled it a yard further.

mistanice, Thank you for your comments. Yes, Moye is the real deal.

Actually, Diboll held Jasper to the lowest. I don't know where you are getting 10 Jasper points against PNG. Jasper lost 14-20 to PNG. Jasper was leading 14-13 until PNG scored late in the game to make it 14-20.

Well for whatever it is worth, I would not trust that source without verification if you use the scores for anything that matters. Aside from the PNG score being wrong, the Shepherd score is also definitely wrong. It should be 34 to 1 td + extra point??. I was at both of those games. Also, if I remember correctly, Jasper scored in the thirties against Buna.
