Finally, I see an intelligent post by Keith.

We all know that polls don't mean anything. I'm glad to see the 3 teams above my PI Tarpons out...even though they're all Div.1 I think.

Yes, its amazing to see that the sports writers/columnists always seem to mess something up! I'm just glad the top two teams won tonight, seeing them play in the D1 final would be awesome, but they both hafta get there first!;)

They didn't just screw up the 3A rankings all year, but the 4A rankings as well.

I think 3, possibly 4 of the top 10 are already one and done.

The AP poll is the least among all the polls, in my opinion. These are just sportswriters, and they don't know any more than your normal fan does. Harris is better, because they use a custom power rating system. At least they have some science involved in it.

I've said before I think it would be cool for a team to go all the way and never be ranked in the top 10. This year someone may get that chance. :)

It appears that of the teams that beat the six you listed, only Caldwell and Palestine received any votes. And NOT ONE was ranked in the Top Ten!!!

4A poll was just as bad. Another site pointed out that #3,4,5,6,and 8 lost in the first round.

Ya, they beat Yoakum in district this year, a very close game...Hall. has the district leading RB, but the team can pass as well.
