Yeah that is one tough district....add Forney who made it to Rd 2 last year and Kaufman who made it to the 3rd round last year and 13-3A is prolly the toghest hoops district in the state...a little story my senior year at Everman we were in 13-4A and we had 4 teams in the state top 10! Everman at 1, Cleburne at 3, Cedar Hill at 6 and Waxahachie at 9...that was one tough district!!!

What year was that? Was it in the 50's?

Ever since Coach Gaylor has been in Hachie, his teams haven't finished above .500

Even so, that is one heck of a tough district.

I think that was late 90's....Everman and Hachie had some dynamite games. Those games were so crowded that you had to get there an hr. before gametime just to get a seat. Hachie had Desmond Mason (Now with the Supersonics) and Lance Walters who was basically dangerous anywhere past mid-court....Everman had a spectacular team including a little point guard who would throw the ball off the backwall then catch and dunk in warm-up lines...I don't think Everman lost a pregame dunk contest the whole yr!!! Anyone seen the one white guy on that team lately(raise your hand)!!!!!

Actually it was Everman-Cleburne..but hey the Everman-Hachie games were packed like that also! LOL The year was 1998 actually...hmm I wonder who that white kid was?? He sure could get up there and dunk also..(tootin my own horn!)

ahhh yes...Cleburne...that last game with them was the beginning of the end for the Everman team (IMO). Never seemed to be the same after that loss. I would have liked to see that team with the current coach.
