Disappointing loss by WOS. Couldn't stop Bridge City's run last week, had a tough time stopping Huffman's run this week.

hahaha so not so invincible as we thought right WOS...I'm only talking to those posters who claimed they would run through 3a and that told me they would kill Barbers Hill, obviously not, if Huffman beat them by 2 and we lost to Huffman 7-6 after 5 turnovers and a missed extra point...clearly they werent nearly as far ahead of the pack as those posters tried to claim, as for those WOS posters and fans/players with class sorry about a tough loss, congrats to Huffman, we're rooting for each other now

I'm not shocked! It takes a sound gameplan and mistake free football to win in the playoffs. The mustangs had neither last night. The only time they really scored was on kick returns and big plays. The same old plays that work against weak competition won't work against an 8-2 ballclub that has reviewed film for a week and are well prepared. However, I do give credit to the Huffman players for executed that gameplan and playing to win the game

Example:

Jasper dominates BC
Logic would say that Jasper destroys Kirbyville, but KV took it to Jasper. You never know.

And who were the WOS posters saying that they wouldn't have a problem in 3A because I don't remember any.

I honestly paid little attention to the names of most of the posters, other than ChainGang, but tell me where the fault in my logic was...all I claimed was that WOS was not nearly so far ahead of the 3a pack as some thought they were. The only problem I had with some WOS posters came from the thread began by chaingang to compare WOS and Barbers Hill just to stir things up, and several of them claimed that a prospective game between the two would have been a blowout for WOS and I feel like a loss like this to Huffman and the near loss to BC in OT last week, whom we just dominated thoroughly last night proves that we could have at the very least played them a competitive game. I feel like these games show we would not have been blown out. I realize you cant really compare teams by common opponents but watching film and common opponents are all that we have to go on. But it doesnt matter who would win the game between BH and WOS b/c it never materialized. All I know is BH is going on the round 2 and looking forward to a tough matchup this week with Kirbyville. I'm sure the majority of WOS posters were classy individuals but the ones I remember are the ones that talked so mightily of theirselves.

Eagle52...K'ville has an awesome running back. He is good inside and to the outside. The guys at the Hill kicked BC around last night and I pass on my heartiest congrats. Yall played great.

If the Hill executes as well against K'ville as they did against BC, it will be a very good game. All the records are out the window since it is playoff time.

I feel like speed backs hurt us much less than an power option such as Liberty ran to perfection or the power running game behind the Huge linemen there at Huffman (how do they grow those guys?) but I havent seen film on them yet so I dont know exactly what to expect. Congrats to BC on a good season you guys played hard and were the classiest team I've played this year by far.
