In past years most good athletes attempted to letter in all sports. Today there is a rise in "speciality" athletes who play ony 1 sport. Are there many "speciality" athletes in 3A sports?

I played 4 (football, soccer, powerlifting, and Baseball) at one point but narrowed it down to 2 (Football and Baseball) by my senior year

Now you specialize in 2 more, Keith----"Powerposting" and "Marathon Boarding".

i too was a mult-sporter but i was student trainer for them:
Baseball
Basketball
Football
Cross Country
I see more and more kids going to one or two sports.
I think in 3A it's not as predominant as in the larger classifications.
Heck, one guy I know who's kid went to school in McKinney was one of only two kids on the baseball team that played anything but baseball. The baseball coach even had a class during the offseason just for baseball players. This wasn't a class like a PE class, but a class where they would take tests on baseball history, offensive strategies, etc.....
