I stayed home puny and have da Mules vs Rangers on the radio
we got a white-knuckle, fingernail-bitin' defensive slugfest goin' on tonight! da Mules scored 1st on a 50-yard jailbreak, then Perryton ground out a 70-yard drive to tie it up. Muleshoe had a 70-yard punt return TD called out of bounds on the Ranger's 40, and the Rangers D held, then both teams traded a series of short drives and punts. Muleshoe then ground out a 75-yard drive on sweeps and short passes to score late in the 2nd quarter; but the 2-point swingin' gate conversion attempt failed. Talk about a ding-dong game; this is a nail-biter.
Muleshoe RB Brady Black has 111 yards rushing in the 1st half. Perryton has 62 yards total offense in the 1st half. Muleshoe has hurt themselves with penalties on offense; they had 1st & 10 on the Perryton 30 late in the 1st q, and off-sided & chop-blocked themselves into a 3rd & 30, and had to punt the ball. :mad: :mad:
