Rice beat Navasota and they are ranked #5? Heh, oh well.

thats just because navasota had a good reason for losing.... i believe their team trainer sent in a doctor's note and it was counted as an excused loss

when i played canyon 2 years ago that was probably the best
7-4 team i have ever seen in my entire life. they are just like greenwood they will crack ur skull. canyon is taught just like us the coaches will tell u that they dont care if u win or lose just as long as u got out and hit somebody as hard as u can that the score board should take care of itself

I think anyone of those top 10 could be beat by someone of less calibur sometime or other. Just depends on what day it is and where were at.

I only see maybe one dominant team in 3A this year. It isn't like it has been in years past. Decatur is the golden child this year. Cuero is undefeated, but they've had a couple of close games and West Orange-Stark still has to prove something to me. Canyon falls under the same category as Cuero and Gilmer hasn't played the competition that any of the other teams have. We'll have to see if anyone steps up during the playoffs.

I would give anything to see Cuero and Decatur in the finals. One of those two if not both should be there in 5 weeks

now that u said that they'll both lose in the first round (knock on wood)

I was knocking on wood--but there both great teams with the potential to be there. They just have to have their game face on each week. I said " they should be there" and i'm still knocking on wood!!

I really think Sinton and Navasota should be swapped? But that is just an opinion

It's about time that the Tarpons got some recognition. I would prefer them not being on the list though. It's better to be an underdog because "you're supposed to lose." Anyways, I hope the Tarpons don't let the rankings get to their heads. Peace up, A-Town down.

Missile, I think Coach Stumbaugh is already proven, he won't let that happen; like he was quoted earlier when he heard that the Tarpons had cracked the Top 10, he said " You know you do with them". :D
