This Week's Poll...

Playoff football is here! And like the current format or not... about half of all the schools are going to be playing football this week, while the other half begin to focus on that strange indoor game with the big inflatable pumpkin.

Tell us, is your school playing this week? What place did they finish?

By the way, the ol' slpybear just got back from Vegas. If there is a better place to watch college or pro football than from the Sports Book at Caesars... I'll eat my hat. WOW. And my poll on the best looking cocktail waitresses? Paris. Hands down. Anyone who wants to vote on that is welcome to post on this thread... ;)

Last week we found that most downlowers reported that of the three schools going to the playoff's in their district... the biggest of the three was placing first... What was very interesting was the descending progression of where the big school was finishing...

Sad to say that my Vernon Lions are sitting home. Just didn't come together as planned this year. Big dissapointment to a storried football program. Especially after the run the team last year had. Makes you realize how special a team that gets to the semi-finals really is. Theose teams come far and few between.

Canton went 8-2 and misses the playoffs because of the tiebreaker point system.

Thats right CHS we play Waco Connally on Saturday at Round Rock at 7:30! If yalldont have anything to do come see us play it will be a great game!
