This year marks the 6th year in a row that Greenwood has been in the playoffs. While that may not make the state news, it is indicative of a tradition and an expectation that is taking place at Greenwood. Tradition and expectation can move teams with lesser talent to accomplish great things, so I am glad to see that happening at Greenwood.

I'm sure there are some 3A schools with impressive playoff streaks. What are yours?

Greenwood was averaging going almost 3 rounds deep every year until last year. Maybe something will happen this year. I remember in 2000 sweetwater beat us 42-14 and we went to the playoffs and and the third round we beat Lake Worth which gave sweetwater a thump, so people can compare all they want its who wants it the most.

Since Winnsboro beat E.Rains Friday the Commerce Tigers made the playoffs for the 16th season in a row. Dang impressive.

u are justr trying to agitate me arent ya....i really...REALLY hope we get to play Greenwood again this season for 3 reasons:

1)to prove to u that u are definitely underestimating sweetwater
2)to get revenge for a couple of years ago

and the MOST IMPORTANT..
3) so i can see rangermom again!

I remember that game. Seems like it was that game that these two freshmen named Wilber & little Audas got a lot of playing time. Wasn't that the game that Jeremy tore his knee up?

That's right....do you remember how MAD "big Audas" was??

I remember hearing him screaming...."That's my brother"!! I felt sorry for whoever on the opposite team had to go up against him!

Was the 3rd most in 3A before the last realignment don't know what happened now that things are mixed up again. (Hondo and Breckenridge)

Some others that have some really impressive strings...especially pilot point.
