View Full Version : Canyon 10-0, district champs, for anyone who cares

well if no one else is going to say anything, i sure will. these guys just completed the first perfect season in school history, and did it at the #5 team in the state's house, on senior night, ending Perryton's 18 game district win streak.

in no way did they play their best game, turning the ball over 3 times, once on their 5 yd line, but they got it done, and deserve some freakin props. going 10-0 is hard no matter what. now they can move on and make some noise these next few weeks.

Do we have any other Panhandle posters on here? I thought we had a few more from that area...

And congratulations, Canyon. I see a deep playoff run in your future.

PERRYTON IS OVERRATED, congratulations canyon u were clearly the better team like i predicted congrats on the district title and good luck in the playoffs

i think there are a couple, any more than that and I'd be surprised. no recognition for the panhandle, but thats how we like it.

Canyon definitely deserves some respect. Canyon will crush Levelland this week. I am anxious to see how well they will do against Wylie or Decatur in the upcoming weeks.

Royse City has a couple of old Tarleton boys leading them into the 3A Div.1 brackets too. Rodney Webb head coach and Jimmy Sides O.C. have the Bulldogs in high gear.
Congrats to Canyon and Coach Bryant on a great season so far. Good luck in the play-offs.
