Mineola lost to Gladewater, 19-15. Gladewater thus makes the playoffs as the 'big school' out of 13-3A.

In District 14-3A, Daingerfield thrashed Pleasant Grove, 37-13, setting up a bi-district game matching up Gilmer against Pleasant Grove. It is allegedly to be at Longview's Lobo Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Will update if I find out any changes to that.

Gilmer has already played Pleasant Grove once this year, winning 20-7.
Advantage: Gilmer

During that game, PG's "little stud" RB Paul McGuire did not play due to injury, but is healthy now.

Advantage: Pleasant Grove

I'll be watching for Gilmer. Without Decatur in the way this team may win it all. Too bad as Gilmer may be the only team that could have tested the Eagles.
