The game was actually a lot closer than the score. Madison's lead was only about 15 at the half, and hey didn't have a very good performance. The game turned bad in the fourth when Forney tried to force things. They must have had more than 10 turnovers in the quarter and gave up about 20 points off of the turnovers.

Hey, at least our girls are headed toward a co-district title this year. They have a very good team, and could easily go a few rounds into the playoffs.

Hey crzyJ, have you heard if the Crandall and Forney girls are going to be co-district champs or are they going to have a playoff game to determine who is the champ? I have heard both from different sources.

I have heard both from different sources. The school has been saying over the P.A. system that the girls will be co-district champs if they win their last two games. I haven't heard any possibilities of a playoff game, but I think that would be interesting.

if they are the top 2 teams they'll be co-district champs....i think the only time they have a playoff is when the two teams that are tied are tied for third...that last playoff spot!

No, teams have had to play a playoff game before to determine district champs. I think it just depends on what the coaches decide on at the begining of the season. Another reason teams would have to play is to determine who would get the first round bye. But in this case if they dont have a playoff game then Crandall gets the first round bye because they beat Forney twice.

you're right showtime..the two wins over Forney is the tie breaker

Do they not have two divisions in basketball playoffs? I don't really know, that's why I'm asking, but if they do, it doesn't matter because Forney and Crandall will not be in the same bracket anyway.

there is no D1 or D2 for 3A...its everyone against everyone.....that's 3A, I think 1A might have D1 and D2...
